Hello,
Any of you are experiencing some kind of power loss especially in acceleration? Normally I would boost from 0-100 in 3.9 seconds. With Launch Control it would be done in 3.7 seconds with a SoC between 80 and 100% But since the update all I seem to get is 5 seconds. With or without launch control. I thought something was wrong with my GPS device but now I'm really starting to wonder if there is something wrong with my car. Before I schedule a visit to the dealer I just wanted to check if more people are experiencing this. This is a 2023 M50 with iDrive 8 btw.

Interesting 'problem' to discover. I've never once done a 0-60/0-100 test, let alone timed one.

I just drive, and when I push the accelerator, the car is fast enough.
🤷‍♂️

I suppose that for some folks 'enough' is a foreign concept for more than just cars.

I only care about efficiency and charging speed, but I suspect there are plenty of BMW i4 drivers that take their cars to the drag strip and/or race track.

I normally drive mi i4M50 in ECO PRO, but when I need/want, I put it in Sport Individual/Boost.
The acceleration change is quite big, (from approx 480 HP, to 544).
You don't need a drop strip or The Autobahn to feel the difference.

I am a little bit disappointed about the iX3 50 - with "only" 480 HP - I think I will wait for the more powerful iXM60.

Hi there,

Just did an acceleration test and saw the full 795Nm and 544hp after the update. My car had not been affected at all.
Curious to find out what is was after your visit to the dealer.

I have an e40, but it reset my lane keeping assist settings. I noticed it while driving to soccer on the weekend while all of a sudden the steering wheel was yanking against the direction I was steering (Streets are poorly marked in the U.S.) I disabled it again, so all good, but I haven’t noticed a loss in acceleration. I keep leaving cars in my rear view mirror as usual.
