Netflix? Other video? I thought I read where you can and don't know how to do it.

If this is possible, how?

No.

…although there are coding settings which may allow this while parked.

Expert mode in Bimmercode. I haven’t tried it.

@The Real AV Guy There are Android boxes that you can get on AliExpress, and other sites that essentially act as Android Auto/CarPlay transmitters, but give you full Android access on the car screen. You can download YT, Netflix, etc. from the app store, and stream whatever you want. I don't know of anyone here who has tried such devices, but they've been posted about before. Unfortunately, many people are selfish/self centered and want the ability to watch videos while driving, at everybody else's expense, so those threads devolve into a safety discussion. Nobody seems to bring up these devices to use strictly while stationary. I'm planning to get one myself at some point to use while charging. I will post about it when I do.

If you decide to go that route, make sure to get a device that communicates wirelessly. The i4 does not support wired Android Auto/CarPlay! Many of these devices are used to turn a wired connection to a wireless one, so they only support a wired connection to the car, and allow you to connect your phone wirelessly to them. This causes a lot of confusion in marketing, etc. You need to ensure that the device connects to the vehicle wirelessly, or it won't work with the i4!

You can install Fermata Auto for Android Auto. Follow these instructions:

Great for watching stuff while waiting for the carwash.
That's really cool, but it's limited, since you can't use YT, Netflix, etc. :( Do you haven IPTV subscription that you use with it? Do you notice any lag in the video audio?
