Already covered elsewhere but try rebooting the iDrive (hold volume button in for 20s until screen goes blank) and also do an update of Apps and Services. Started working again for me but had to re-enable it a couple of times in the app.

 

I recommend the other order: update first, then reboot if needed. Note on reboots:

1. Press and hold the Vol knob until the console screen turns black and reboots. This is a basic reset.
2. Press and hold the Vol knob until the console screen turns black and reboots a total of 3 times. This is a harder reset.
3. Get into the car and press the Start button 3 times (don't press the brake) then press and hold the Vol knob for 3 reboots.

Start with the first. That is likely to fix this problem. If it doesn't, try the second. I'm not sure if you'll need the third, since that's usually for multiple issues according to @niam.

 

I had this. Rebooting didn't work, but choosing App and Service updates in the menu sorted it

 

Same here the reboots were no use.
Actually got a notification of app updates completed last night (checked numerous times since the OS update and nothing) it now seems to say it is active, I just have not driven neat a camera last night to check if it actually notifies now

 

Anyone have any updates on this?

The service is active, but when I drive locally it misses cameras completely, or only in one direction, when the cameras are two way.

There are 2 dual direction cameras close to home and it only picks up 1 camera in 1 direction. It misses the other 3 and gives no alerts.
This is worse than not having the feature at all imo.

These are new style Vector SR cameras (info below) but at locations that have had cameras for decades.
I am wondering if it's specifically related to mapping of these new cameras, or a more general problem.
