Was getting a free car wash today in California from Mother Nature. My San Remo Green i4 e40 Sport with 18” gunmetal aero wheels in the background goes well with this green M4 competition with oem black wheels in the foreground.
It also makes me wonder what the future all electric M4 will look like.😎

Don't hold your breath, I think it will be several years before we see an EV M4... what color green was that M4? Any ideas?

Carful. You’re getting pretty close to that curb 😉

They were BIG parking spots (nothing like in Germany) and with the heavy rain I didn’t want to get anywhere as close as the m4 while I was ogling it and parking at the same time. He parked over the curb…My first car was a 10 year old 1993 VW Corrado SLC. Even before I added aftermarket Bilstein and H&R suspension it wouldn’t clear a parking spot curb. I knew this just by eyeballing my Corrado’s height. At the time, before I bought it, the manager of the university dorm cafeteria had a VW Jetta TDI manual transmission pre-particulate filter. I will never forget the day he parked over the parking spot curb while I was walking by. The scraping sound was loud, but what was worse was when he shifted into reverse and his front bumper ripped off. It was quite a traumatic experience for a car nut, but a very good lesson. Most European cars 90s on won’t clear a parking curb as they aren’t as high as those old Cadillac’s or new SUVs.

A local guy owns it. I see it cruising around out and about.
Yes, I looked it up for you and it is called “Urban Green”. It looks like a flat green non metallic paint in the shade of camouflage green:

I didn’t order PAP. But even so cameras and sensors don’t work well in rain. That’s why self driving cars will never work.
How not to park a German car:

I've found the cameras work remarkably well in the rain. I'm not sure if there is some hydrophobic coating but I continue to be shocked at how clear the image is when I turn it on after driving home in the rain. Our Edge has washers for the front and rear cameras and I was disappointed the i4 didn't, but so far they have stayed remarkably clean. Also I have only ever experienced a weather related issue with the parking sensors when snow accumulates on them. They have no issue with rain so far. That said, we don't get rain in Wisconsin like I experienced when living in Florida so perhaps there is an issue with more significant rainfall.
The bigger problem is the sensors not "seeing" those parking curbs at all regardless of weather.

Why have they pulled this colour? It’s so classy.
Agreed. And at least to my eye Cape York Green, one of the two colors added for MY25, is just so terrible.

For that matter, I thought Sunset Orange was fantastic too, and a fairly unique color. Such a shame.

I’ll never get tired of the depth of San Remo Green.
