Nope, I was out and about most of yesterday doing thing that needed to get done so I missed it entirely. It sure would have been nice though to see the live footage on an IMAX size screen.

I think I’ll grab some binoculars and scour the Pacific Ocean when the Capricornus leader gets closer to make up for it…
Yeah, it would be way cooler to be able to see the ship in person.

I mean, I've seen plenty of these car carriers before, but never did I see one that was carrying something for me.

I would like you to share how I can do that in 4 or 5 years when my M50 makes its way through…
Well, it certainly helped that it happened on a Saturday.

The weird part was when my boss sent me a text message with screen caps of Capricornus on both a fleet tracker and a webcam.

Has anyone else spotted this little race going up the west coast of Central America right now?
The ship up closest to Mexico is Goliath Leader. It has a stop in Mexico coming up. That is when Orion Leader, the ship out away from the coast, will likely pass Goliath. The one with the green circle is Capricornus Leader, and it should cut the distance to Goliath by roughly half during that stop. This of course leads to the three ships expected arrivals at Port Hueneme on three consecutive days.

So cool and fascinating at the same time.

Wallenius Wilhelmsen removed Titus from the schedule and put a new TBN voyage in its place.

As a reminder, the last TBN ended up being a ship falling further and further behind until it was aligned with the TBN dates, at which point, the TBN schedule was removed. Morning Lena would have to slip by 16 days to get to the listed dates, so I don't think that will be quite how it goes this time?

Looks like Orion will get to the US first.
Lost a few days along the way but it's straight through to Hueneme now!

I think the last one was Virgo Leader, and I think the first person said they were still waiting for the Valet Mode recall to be cleared? It's only been a couple of days, though, and there was a backlog. Someone from an earlier ship did report their VIN was showing closed at Port Hueneme, so there is progress.

I was on the Virgo Leader and supposedly the car should arrive at my dealer today. But I can't really confirm that the car is on a carrier or where it is. So it should come SOMETIME this week............I hope.

UPDATE: BMW Genius says the car should be delivered to the dealer on the 28th. 🤞

Mine was on Orion Hwy. Docked Sunday night in Brunswick, GA. Genius line confirmed there is an open work order on it at the VPC. I would assume for the Valet parking issue. Hopefully it will be on a truck to the Performance Center by the end of the week. Then there is just the wait for a pick up date at the PDC. I hope I can get in quickly. It would be nice to fly up there next Friday and get the car! 🤞🤞🤞

Virgo Leader left on the 18th, so ten days, port to dealer? That's pretty good. What dealership are you picking up from?

Bill Pierce Reno. I hope I got good info from the Genius line. I would love to have the car by this weekend.

Reno? Googly, googly, googly.

Roughly 8 1/2 hours for BMW VPC Oxnard to that dealership, by google maps. I think a trucker is allowed 10 hours a day, max, so they might be able to make the drive all at once, but more likely would have one mandatory sleep/rest stop on the way. That's 2 days.

18.5 hours for Oxnard VPC to BMW of Bellevue. Pretty sure that's 3 legs with two mandated stops, making it about 3 days, plus or minus?

I think my real stumbling block will be getting out of the VPC anywhere near that fast. Capricornus is the third ship in three days carrying BMWs, so we'll be at the back of that line. Mine will probably still be there when Triton or Oberon pulls into port.

Capricornus Leader is cruising past Mexico to California like a cruise missile. 😎
I'm counting down the states of Mexico that it still needs to sail past. 😄
Oaxaca, Guerrero, Michoacan, Jalisco, Nayarit, Sinaloa, Baja California Sur, Baja California

Then it will be counties in California: San Diego, Orange, Los Angeles, Ventura

Then the Port Hueneme webcam.

Then it's back to refreshing MyGarage hourly, like a mad fool.

PH website now shows Capricornus docking on the 2nd.
