Wow. Hestia Leader only JUST got underway, self-reporting Dec 14, 02:53 on a Dec 11 schedule.
Next event is supposed to be Galaxy Leader arriving at Bremerhaven, and the schedule has them arriving on the 15th... The problem with that is the ship is self-reporting as at anchor and "headed to" Zeebrugge, arriving there on the 10th when it was supposed to be there on the 11th. That doesn't make any sense, so it's just a matter of watching it to see what it actually does.

 

...and Hestia Leader did arrive at Zeebrugge shortly before midnight, and it is the 15th there now. I think it is safe to say that they will not be leaving from Bremerhaven today.

OP has been updated with the Week 50 NYK schedule. Two new ships added to January and the usual bunch of shuffling.

 

On the OP, I've noted the late arrival and departure of Grand Duke at Port Hueneme, and the delay of Galaxy Leader's departure from Bremerhaven.

WW has added two new TBN scheduled ships in February. Also: some of these WW ships are now going to Gothenburg between Bremerhaven and Port Hueneme now. Maybe some Saab's going to Belgium and the UK?

NYK Lines Week 51 schedule is early. Lots of dates sliding right on both NYK and WW schedules. Ships left Bremerhaven and ships have arrived at Port Hueneme. The last ship out of Germany in 2022 bound for Port Hueneme is gone and on the way. Two more arrivals of interest in 2022 remain, Toronto on the 23rd and Asteria Leader on the 28th. Toronto is already off the Channel Islands, so they should arrive on time, presuming PH has an available berth.

 

I tried, but they don't seem to have trackers in their trucks, or at least not publicly accessible ones. They promise delivery within 24 hours to anyplace in their area, so it won't be with them long. They got from Port H. to Bellevue, WA in a day, in my case.

 

Thanks. My car was assigned to them last Thursday and just waiting to get moving. I reached out to them today and was told they’re not supposed to field customer inquiries directly, but that my car is assigned to a truck and it should be on its way in the next day or so.

 

Yeah, the car gets assigned to the carrier but doesn't leave the VDC until the trailer is full.

 

OP has been updated for the NYK week 52 schedule with the usual slips to the right, and WW has inserted a voyage for Morning Lena before the TBN3, along with the usual slips to the right. Auriga Leader made their port visit to PH. No more ship movements this year. 🤪

 

My car’s status flipped to ”transport” from at the port today (1/2/2023). From the helpful table by the OP, would that mean the car is on Auriga Leader due to depart on 1/5?

 

Mine too! Maybe on the same boat? Mine is going to Port Hueneme, I’m trying to figure out how to track it now.

 

Kinda dumb, but I feel like a kid again going through all of this. The anticipation is sort of killing me now.

 

@VegasM50 @sjlee @Orange_i4 Just curious when your i4's arrived at the port in Bremerhaven? Mine arrived at the port on 12/20, but is still in "At the port" status. Wondering if it has a chance at making it on the Auriga Leader as well.

@silpher - that’s about the same time that mine arrived to the port (December 21). That was where the car has spent most of its time so far. My CA hasn’t given me the boat name yet, and genius was closed today so I couldn’t call to ask. Hopefully I know later this week.

 

They won't have a boat until you go "In transit."

You can hope that your car gets on a scheduled ship, but you will only be sure if you go to “in transit” and a call to the Genius line a few days later gets you a ship name.

The OP has Themis (WW) for 1/14 -> 2/13. Not sure if it's referring to the same ship as what you mention. I'm still hoping it gets on Auriga Leader which is due to depart on 1/5.

Still at port as well. I thought I read on a different thread that there’s about a 2-day delay between status change from at port to in transit, so we may not know until early next week. Not sure how accurate that is though.

 

I'm also still "at port" at the moment hoping to get on the Auriga Leader (though for an iX that's been at port since 12/23 in my case).

I see on the latest schedule a note saying:

Bremerhaven experiencing heavy delays, future vessels in the schedule might not reflect such delays yet

which I hadn't noticed previously... so who knows when the ship will get under way. As of this writing it's still moored and now two days late departing.

It looks like Auriga Leader is well on its way to Southampton UK, and my BMW status says "at the port". I'm hoping the status update is delayed and my car is on that boat, but I guess I'll see...

Still getting used to switching from an apple Magic Trackpad to a Toshiba laptop touchpad. Since I use a windows mouse at work, I never realized how spoiled I was by all those 2, 3, and 4-finger gestures on the apple pad.

 

Has anybody flipped to "In transit" status? I'm still "at the port"... fingers crossed we all made the Auriga Leader and are just waiting on a status update.

The Auriga Leader has left South Hampton and is on the way to the Panama Canal so feels like an arrival date of the 30th seems believable FWIW.

I guess I'm in the same situation as everyone else here with, still at port and have been since 12/21/2022. It did switch to "in transit" for 1 day on 1/2 then back at port since.
I did reach out to BMW genuis this am and their answer was the same as our online still 'at port'...😢
oh well, I guess the next vessel will be the Themis and it currently is docking at Southampton Uk but wont get to Bremerhaven until 1/14.

 

I had the same flip back and forth. I spoke with BMW genius, and they mentioned the possibility of moving vehicles to another port in case of congestion. They couldn't tell if that's what happened to my car, though.

When your car is at Bremerhaven, goes 'In Transit" for a day or three, then is "At the Port" again, it means they fixed a stop sale, or more often, installed any parts that were missing when it left the factory.

The good news is that it means your car is (or should be) actually complete.
The bad news is your car goes to the back of the line.

They have been telling people this nonsense for almost a year now, and in every case, the car loaded onto a ship at Bremerhaven, as all BMWs do.
