I love those whipping around on the track, but have you tried them on longer road trips? If so how did they do for you in terms of comfort, compared to the standard seats ?
Rode as a passenger in a G80 for a 400 mile round trip - these seats are as comfortable as the F80 seats, which I came from . Compared to the G2x seats in comfort, they are not for most people; the bottom side bolsters will irritate the majority of people just trying to get in and out of the car. But for me, that's the best part of these seats as I really do not like how flat bolsters bottoms support my hips when I drive. Hips don't lie, yo'. :sneaky:

Carbon buckets swap from non-ventilated Sport seats in 4 steps:
  • Add 4 wires: K-CAN +/- to passenger controller (pin 5, pin 6), +12V wires (pin 7) to power ///M badges to each seat controller
  • Remove/isolate wire at pin 4 (LIN) in passenger seat controller- Carbon buckets have no footwell light.
  • VO Coded 48C (Carbon Buckets), removed 481 (Sport Seats) and 488 (lumbar) via BimmerUtility
  • Enable occupancy sensor on passenger controller via ISTA (clear any airbag error)

OEM integration, fully functional.

* i4 ventilated seats, or M Sport seats have controller on passenger-side, CAN wires are already in there so no need to add CAN wires.
