Sorry late response, I haven't had a chance to properly shoot the interior yet, but here's a screen cap from a clip I was working on, it's quilted. From what I heard from a BMW corp employee that we are 1of1 for the years. I just wasn't the one who ordered it, I got lucky that it never got delivered to the customer.

This car was never delivered to the customer because it was stolen en route to the dealer back in 2023. I was the customer.

Good to know that BMWNA recovered the car, and got it sold to you at a great price.

Makes much more sense now, when I questioned the dealer about the theft that was at the top of the carfax before it was delivered and the dealer didn't really know, they just told me it had minor damage that was repaired which I still can't find what it was, the paint is fine in all areas, they did show me the repair bill that was 22k. I asked for a CPO and they told me it's not possible because the vehicle was considered new since it never had an owner and that I would be getting all the factory warranty and benefits just at half the price. When I posted the car on reddit a user reached out to me stating that he was using the car as a company vehicle and the reason why it ended up with BMWNA was because it was damaged in transit. You're on the east coast right? I wonder how it ended up over here in California, even the car fax stated everything was done here. Did your dealer tell you the car was stolen and they would be sending you out another one? Did they give it to you cheaper? Strange too because this dealer I got it from seems to get their hands on a lot of individuals (Century West BMW), my salesperson loved to brag about that too, saying that were always sent individuals, I wonder if they have something to do with getting so many of these "new/used" individuals. It was never on their public lot either, hidden away in some private lot that sat for months before I found it.

... looks like this car was just parked somewhere in South Florida for some time, then found with the transport truck in Miami 3 months later.

Damn, that really sucks, I'm glad you were still able to get another one knowing how much of a pain it is to get individual interior. Well it's good to know the real history on this car and that you're the true father. Crazy that BMWNA decided to ship it all the way to California. I'm grateful that I found it, will be keeping this for quite awhile, it gets a ton of attention.
