Looking forward to meeting everyone too! 😎
I have 3 of the compartments in the pic up for grabs. First 3 to ask get one!
I'll give @cruzer666 first right of refusal, since he set this up for us all.
The multi quantity discount vs shipping was almost a wash.
I use mine for the garage fob. Our garage door opener refuses to speak to either car.

Still seems pretty rare to see another i4 (let alone an M50) on the road so a gathering of 13 or so will be a blast. It'll be cool to see a variety of paint colors.

You can blame me for the rain...seriously! I washed my car yesterday morning and am pretty sure the rain gods decided to have a laugh and undo my wash job.
That’s often how it is. It’s uncanny how the day after you wash your car a bird does a bombing run or Thor decides to relieve himself…

can't wait to meet more BMW enthusiast . I used to do this back in day with group of E38s from Bimmerboard.com
I also had a 10yr rum with group from all over USA meetup at Pagosa Springs, co. group called Drive4Corners.com
see you this Sunday.
It’s hard to believe that the E38 7 series is only 7.8 inches longer that the i4. That must have been a comfortable cruiser as well.

Thanks! I'm good, but bring them to the meetup, someone might want them :)

Looks like we’ll have all 3 models tomorrow and very excited to say we’ll have 7 different color i4’s, including a couple of Tanzanite blues that I haven’t seen up close yet.

Here’s the breakdown in cars and colors (from people that RSVP’ed “Yes” and minus @Mad bunny since I don’t know their M50’s color):
- 8 M50s / 6 eDrive40s / 1 eDrive35

Colors:
  • 4 San Remo Green
  • 2 Frozen Portimao Blue
  • 2 Mineral White
  • 2 Brooklyn Gray
  • 1 Skyscraper Gray
  • 2 Tanzanite Blue
  • 1 Portimao Blue

See you all tomorrow!

Seems like we are going to need to start planning our pics!

Funny how M50's are in the majority.
Interesting to see the green being so popular. I didn't expect that!
Being another fan of the green, no comment there, but I think the reason for so many M50s is that events like this are more for enthusiasts... the M50 is an enthusiat's car.

I am an enthusiast-lite and opted to go with the M sportified eDrive 40. I made the decision since I don't need AWD, wanted to lower the weight, get a range bump, and mistakenly thought the turning radius would be better. Now having lived with the car for a couple of weeks if I were to do it again, I would probably have sprung for the M50. The 40 is as quick as you need around town, but hill climbing I do feel it running out of steam. These i4s are pigs and pushing all that mass up a hill is tough for a single 335hp motor.

That said, it is fun getting the back end to kick out and slide a bit in turns. I have missed that with the front biased AWD Golf Rs that have been my last two cars.

PS: I wish I could pop down there and add a fifth SRG i4 to the mix but my car is is still at the detailer getting PPF'd.

I get that! I'm hardly an enthusiast, myself. This is the first time I got a car worthy of enthusiasm 😅
That said, I always figured with BMW there would be some variability in preference, mainly because some people prefer the pure RWD feel over how AWD feels.

I have a brand new BMW OEM cargo net available which fits the i4 perfectly. First 1 to ask gets it!

Glad I was able to get the bird s*#t off of my hood before anyone took photos!

Great to meet all of you and thanks to @cruzer666 for putting this together.
