Unfortunately not strange. It's "normal" for i4s to wear like this on the rears. I had to replace my rears at 12K miles some as early as 9k miles. 20K is pretty good. Some of us had the alignment changed on the rear to minimize this "normal" wear pattern after getting a new set. I also had a different alignment than what came as factory and so far after 12K miles it's much better. I can still see more wear on the inner side of the rear tires but not nearly as bad as before.
