Is it possible to have 3 things like that on the main display in idrive 8.5? I want that setup.

 

HUD: Standard View
Instrument Cluster: Sport individual with map in the center (although the map is pretty useless)
Main Display: Media/Map/Weather/Traffic

 

I have Standard View in HUD without mode-specific things, instrument cluster is showing DAP screen and usually I have map/music on the main display. With a good HUD like the i4 has you don't really need the instrument cluster screen anymore.

 

I definitely still want the instrument cluster, but I rarely look at it for my speed. I want to marry the HUD and have little heads-up babies with it and live happily ever after.

 

HUD: standard view without the arrow stuff and all.

Main Display: Map with efficiency widget

 

I have HUD in minimal/simple view with the drive display off
Instrument cluster is usually on map display, but I switch it to the driver assistance display when I'm using DAPP
Infotainment screen is the same tiles as @cruzer666 , except I have the map and vehicle tiles flipped. I also leave mine on the live vehicle display/auto rather than the trip setting.

I really wish we had a combined instrument cluster display like iDrive 7 With iDrive 7, you get DAPP info automatically, map, directions, and even music/other widgets laid overtop all in one view. I have no idea why they got rid of that. Nobody wants to be scrolling through widgets all the time. We need a "summary" view that contains less detailed info or relevant info when it's needed

Center Display: CarPlay - I rarely use the widgets and when I do, it's just the iDrive Maps Widget

Mine is also almost exactly like cruzer666’s, except in the instrument cluster I like to have wide view with (dynamic zoom) map for knowing the next bends when driving spirited: in the iD8.0 map I like to have manual zoom with an overview of the next 1-20 miles, depending on where I am driving.
