I’m going with a set of 19” Fondmetal Thoes for my winter tires. They’re made especially for BMW’s so factory center caps fit and no spacers are needed.

Thank you very much. I searched for it too, but on the BMW homepage is nothing stated and on other retailers I just found the total package weight of 115kg. So aftermarket wheels shouldn't be more than 11kg to have the same range.
I'd argue that the absolute weight of the wheels is not the only thing that'll affect range but also the type of driving you do should be considered. Lighter wheels will certainly require less energy to get going and this will be beneficial in start stop city traffic. Vice versa, a wheel with a slightly higher weight will want to keep it's mass in motion for longer once it gets going. For highway driving and coasting this might actually show an advantage. All in all, I doubt a minute difference in wheel weights will have an extreme effect on range, as I'm sure that the aerodynamic properties of the wheel will also play some part.

Just found the first working configurator :

Sorry german...
Translate in Safari works just fine… thanks for this!

The configurator lists Japan Racing SL01 for the i4.
Last time I checked, the load rating is not enough for i4.
Also JR configurator doesn't show any wheels for i4, even if i4 can be selected.

But hwat is is official max load / wheel anyway? Imcant find it?

Now I found this dealer wich gives max load specifications:

Some dealers have links to TUV certificates on their webstores. They include a max load number, which I assume is reliable.
Also some manufacturers include the info on their website. But most don't, which makes it hard to find alternatives.

I dont think there are allready 3rd party rims for I4 TĂĽv verified.
for the e40 there are some with ABE.

"Gutachten/ABE" includes the i4 e40.
