I found a source:

If you hoover (mouse over) over the numbers like 100Y is tell you the weight index.

So 19" has 750kg front and 800kg rear.
Thanks. That's a very helpful page.

So with 19" and ET25 front and ET32 rear, I don't need any spacers. Now I have to check if I can register wheels with those specs.

An 8.5" wide et25 wheel can be used squared with the i4 and be flush to both front and rear fenders without the need of spacers, and 245 tires. If a staggered setup is preferred then a 8.5" et25 front and a 9" et30 rear will also be flush in all fenders with 245/255 tires. These can be 19" or 20" wheels.

I just read the threat again and found the weight of the front 859m which is 11kg so the rear will be slightly more.
I guees it will be hard to find lighter rims, since the specified load varies. For example the OZ Hyper GT which I have now are just about 1kg less and realy dont come close the the load weight specified.

My point beside the weight is that I actualy dont like any of the original rims.

So best is eventually just to buy 859m winter wheels... A little bit depressing...

That is the goal. I want them to be flush with the fenders in front and rear without the use of spacers. The next step is the lowering when AC Schnitzer is ready.
But in the rear it seems not to be allowed to have 8.5" wide 19" wheels according to BMW specs. I'm not sure if that will cause some problems with the brakes or something. But to have all 4 wheels in the same size would be great.

We ordered the M Sport package which forces us into the 19” wheels, but I actually really like the 18” 854 aero wheels. If anyone in the US ends up with 854 take-offs I’d be interested in buying them off you. Located in SoCal.

BMW does not use 19x8.5 at the rear from factory, but they do use 18x8.5 squared with 245/45-18 tires. Using 19x8.5 is the same as long as the rolling diameter is the same as the 18x8.5 - use 245/40-19 tires square, that would be a 0% deviation in rolling diameter from the 245/45-18 in 18x8.5 wheels that BMW do use. .

I will be using 20x9 et20 square with 255/35-20 tires - about 0.7% deviation in rolling diameter from OEM front (from 245/35-20) and a 1.1% deviation from OEM rear (285/35-20), and aggressive offsets, for example. In my case, I don't see the use of 285/30 tires in the rear with less performance and less range than a 255/35, and I want to rotate the tires.

Hi, isn't 20x9 ET20 going to poke extreme in the front? I have ordered 826M 8.5X20 ET25 front - 9.5X20 ET 38 rear and was a little worried about the fronts sticking out to much.
I also have bought a 3mm spacer if needed in the back but since i got the Ed40 without i think it will be fine.

Today I changed the 18 858 Mwheels on my I4 e40 msport with gmp Specternblack diamond 19 inch .Gmp is an italian wheel maker, they have olso the new model Luminca on listed their website S compatibile with the i4

These look great! I checked the GMP website and according to them the 19" are only available in 8" and 9" widths. Are these 8" front and 9" rear? The Fondmetals I've ordered come in the same widths, and I was worried the front would look recessed compared to the stock width of 8.5", but on your car these GMPs look mint!

This is 20x8.5 et20 (Facebook group):

Add 6mm to that and you get 20x9 et20. I’ll be lowering my car so the top 6mm of poke will be inside the fender.

Hello,

Yes the are 8 în front but the et is 30 instead of 36 like the OEM so the 0.5 inch is compensated by the difference in et(0.6)

Is it the BMW i4 Group in facebook? I can't find this post. I assume that it would look the same with 19x8.5 ET20 like in the picture.
AC Schnitzer is already offering lowering springs.
AC Schnitzer performance spring kit for BMW i4 (G26) (acschnitzer-us.com)

This will be a great combination.

Would be interesting to know the weight of the different wheels people run, (Rim + Rubber), i just got my Style 826M and when changing i will weight the 858M 18''

My Style 826M 20 is really heavy so im hoping they will not ruin the performance of the car.
Will do a performance test with acceleration 0-100 and 100-150 on both sets and get back with results.

This is with winter friction tyres.

8.5X20 ET25 245/35-20 front = 54,2lbs/24,6KG
9.5X20 ET38 255/35-20 rear = 55,7lbs/25,3KG

Hello ,very good idea.I am olso curios on how much the range will be affected.
I am sorry I didn’t weight the 18 inch 858 M with the Hankook tires when I changed them with the 19 inch aftermarket Gmp Specter.
I will weight the Specter when a will swap them for my 18 inch 853 with the Pirelli winter tires.
After I changed my wheels, and changed the settings in the idreve from 18 to 19 I suspect my GOM now shows less range .With the 19 charged at 80% shows 340 km max. But with the 18 inch was about 390 max.

Thats great would love to know the weight of the GPM Specters.

I'm hoping to find time to change to my new wheels this weekend and will weight the 858M when they are off the car.

Did you notice any difference in the acceleration och power when you changed from 18 to 19?
