I was pulling out of the in-law's driveway when a rupture in the concrete driveway scraped the bottom of my car. I assessed the damage and it seems to be limited to the plastic part that sits underneath the car (pictures attached). It doesn't look like the battery housing underbelly was touched, just the plastic part. There is a gash – also a plastic piece fell off which I was able to recover (pictures attached as well).

ADAS calibration? that one is very confusing.... I didn't realize ADAS used the plastic part that is closest to the ground

Makes sense, but still seems excessive.
I think I can live with the gash since it's under the body of the car. Just need to replace the Jack Pad that fell out. The part will take 2-3 months to arrive via ebay. Don't wanna wait that long.

Does your car come with Ambient lights? If yes, check to make sure carpet light is still ok. Try it out at night unlock car and carpet light should be on the ground.
The door almost certainly doesn't need to be removed.
They replaced my rocker panel like 3 weeks after they had put the new doors on my i4.
My car did go to the dealership from the bodyshop the day before I got it back, but after working on virtually the entire left side of my car, it makes sense that it got a last once-over before it was returned to me.

If the damage doesn't bother you, I would just replace the jackpad and it'll be fine?

this is about 30 minutes worth of work. you can do it all yourself. buy the black plastic trim. remove the side skirt. install the new lift pad. replace the black trim plastic and reassemble. super easy. black trim cost about $300. lift pad maybe 25. don’t even waste your time with a body shop.... no paint required. some people talk about dealerships being a rip off, body work quotes are a complete joke...
