New-to-me icon. Am I missing any others?

I've had the car for 1 1/2 years in Sunny Florida, USA and tonight it was a little chilly.
So for the first time I sent a message to the car from the BMW app to start the climate control.
When I got to the car, I noticed the blue fan icon for the first time.
Are there any other icons I should be aware of that would show up in the squared area?

If you haven't found the controls for ejection seat, heat seeking missiles or deployable caltrops yet, I'm certainly not going to be the one to tell you how to use them.

Years ago I was considering purchasing a Mercedes CLK convertible. The salesman was explaining what all the buttons do.
I already knew all this because I had done my research. I even knew what the blank buttons would do on other models with the same panel.
I looked at him dead in the eye and asked "Which buttons do I press to make it join with other Mercedes to form a giant robot?"
He looked at me in disbelief for a few seconds, then slowly turned away and got out.
I tried to get him back and tell him it was a joke, but he just walked away.
I ended up buying that car from a different salesman.

Oh wow. I have never seen that fan icon and I usually precondition the car before I leave. 🤔

I once walked into a MB dealership to browse and learn more about their cars...I wanted to know more about the CL63 at the time and the salesman asked me why I was interested in MB and what I else I was considering. He didn't even get up from his desk once I mentioned BMW.

Shortly after, I ordered a F32 fully loaded.

Never understood MB sales tactics -- it's was like they were doing me a favor showing me their cars.

The two left and right of the hazard triangle are blank, but if you shine a flashlight onto the area immediately next to the blue cabin pre-conditioning icon, you will see an icon that looks like a hot plate with squiggly arrows pointed up. At first I thought it was the heated seats but we already have those in the main display, so I don't know what it maps to and I've never seen it lit up. Could not find a mention of it in the owners manual either.

It’s the electric grill for toast. Removed due to parts shortages…. :p

Joke:
A Hispanic man speaking limited English is hired by a dealership to handle the Spanish speaking customers.
He is standing on an indoor balcony on the second floor of the dealership overlooking the showroom, when a customer comes over and stands beside him.
The customer says "Beautiful SUV"
"Si Senor, she is beautiful, all new for this year."
"Horsepower?"
"530 hosepower. Very fast."
"Cargo space?"
No senor. Car no go space. Car no fly. Maybe next year model."

I'm waiting for someone to ask what's that little round button to the left of the volume knob. Happens in every forum. Please don't press/destroy it!!! It's not a button. It's the interior temperature sensor.

There are two indicators at the end of the row: the fan is for cabin preconditioning, the wavey lines are for battery preconditioning.

I have occasionally seen the cabin precon light come on the few times I used it.

Battery conditioning?

Now that would be something. Perhaps looking into coding getting the button functional instead of hoping to get a software update to get the battery conditioning.
time to get BU I guess
Did anyone look into the module that handles the button row to see if there is a possibility to turn buttons on or off?

If I'm not mistaken, it's only an indicator light, not a button.

Has anyone noticed if it lights up when you precondition in advance of a DCFC session at all?

Neither of the 2 ”indicators” on the right side of the center console controls are buttons and I can’t get the 2nd from the right to ever light up. I manually activated battery pre-conditioning… nothing.

I just got off the phone with BMW Genius. We went through a number of procedures to no avail. They did verify that the icon was for battery preconditioning, so that is something.
The operator offered to put in a research request, so I have her the following two questions:
1. What is the procedure that it takes to get that icon to light up?
2. What software changes can be done to provide manual preconditioning of the battery?

We will see what they come up with.

Did you know the little notifications at top right of the iDrive screen can be tapped to go to the applicable function?
You all knew that, I'm sure. Right??

(this is a generic picture from the web; I don't even recognize half those symbols, but the concept remains the same. What is that red one?)
