Popped up for me today on idrive 8. Seems I'm finally getting them again after I stopped getting them after 03/2024. I'm assuming the dealership installing the 03/2025 recall version software last month kickstarted the OTA for me.
It's just the beta test is now completeLooks like the Update Drones made a U-turn and headed over the pond to the UK![]()

As I remember, no progress indication, just transferring. When it's done it says to park the car and that it is OK to lock it and leave for the installation. For those of you who have successfully installed do you get any indication of progress when the update is being transferred from phone to car?
I found this thread on the subject that seems to explains that I do need a visit to the service centre. So will this really mean a visit to the dealership, or will the update still function through the app when it arrives?

If you have an OBD adapter, clear your error memory and it should become available again. Not sure if will fix itself in time.So will this really mean a visit to the dealership, or will the update still function through the app when it arrives?
Thanks, I do have a ODB adaptor left over from when I owned my 2021 M235i. I'll connect it up and perform a scan.If you have an OBD adapter, clear your error memory and it should become available again. Not sure if will fix itself in time.
I got the update to 07/2025.40 today at the dealer, so for me it is fixedWell so there's three of us with this problem now. @wybiel
You said stutter. Would "lurch" also be a fitting word? I've used the word lurch when describing an almost confusion of what the car wanted to do - accelerate or decelerate in heavy but fast moving traffic. Yet, when I drove from NH to PA last week I had no issues. After this mornings motorway commute it would appear the update has addressed my stutter at 25% power delivery. I want to test it a bit more particularly on a longer drive.
The last official word was "late 2025", so they technically have until Dec. 31st. Technically. Which is, of course, the best kind of right.Just got this today.Still no Supercharger access. Any day now. We are in the last half of 2025.
