There are chemicals 9liquirds( that paint shops use to remove wax, oils, dirt, assorted residue, etc. while prepping surfaces for paint. Works great. Get some of that.

 

I’ve had pretty good luck with detail spray and a microfiber. If that does not work I apply some of the offending wax to act as a solvent and microfiber while wet. I use Collinate 845 exclusively. Results may vary with other brands.

The guy in the video mentioned that he had used a “Mr. Clean Eraser” in the past and it works as well. I used an eraser that you would use to remove pencil, not a chemical eraser.
