How about welcome carpet lights? Mine does not have Ambient Light option, there are cheap Aliexpress knock off but hoping if there’s oem plug and play option?

 

All of it possible. It’s do you want to spend more then ordering the car with the options…

 

The price for the OEM Laserlight headlights for a 3 series is about $7k.

It’s probably cheaper to sell your car and order a new one than the retrofit 😆

 

If that's true I am not even going to look further. It's not that big of a deal and not worth anywhere near that amount of money lol

 

Can anyone here can take a pic of underneath the car with welcome carpet lights? I wonder where the lights are could be an easy mod if I can find part number. I don’t need interior Ambient lights.

 

The light comes from a spot right behind the front wheel well.

 

Cost to manufacturer is a different beast.

as it now stands, for the price of complete i4 M50 you can buy only two motors and the battery. While that may be technically true, it is not same as the cost to BMW

 

I think the magical 100 USD/1kWh was the cheapest cost of production for cells. That alone for the battery -> 84 kWh x 100 USD = 8.400 USD. Without modules, wires, housing and so on.

 

For the laser lights, the option in the US was $1k...there's no way I would have considered retrofitting it for $7k+.

It happened to me on my very first BMW order, but never since
