I wonder if the spaced wheels and lowered body changes the range?
Why would it?
Spacers on the wheels don't change rolling resistance.

Lowering does change the aerodynamic profile but it can't be by much.

Waiting for my M50......

I wondered if it increased the wheel-related air turbulence (same reason they have those "aero" wheels).

Posted these on another thread but probably a good idea to get them all on one.

Brooklyn Gray with Matte PPF (Gtechniq Halo on top)
Llumar IRX 35
IND orange reflector delete
Black wrapped grill outline and sharkfin
Added carbon package style rear spoiler

This looks amazing. I love matte looks on cars. Would've loved a Frozen color but it's out of my price range and I got the edrive anyway. May I ask how much this costs? So this is just an aftermarket matte PPF? I'm getting Portimao Blue

Not sure where I stated it, but I was offered an "at-cost" deal from a good friend who's a local installer. Costs were about 50% what they would charge retail. Retail is anywhere from $6500-$8000+.

Yes, it is just aftermarket PPF / with "matte" finish. There are a few different brands.

Getting frozen is cheaper overall but then you don't get the protection of PPF.

I do love how the the matte PPF looks.

You can also look at getting a vinyl wrap done with a matte finish. Not as much protection but much cheaper....about $2500...

If you ever get the chance I would love more pictures as I ordered a BG and I’m on the fence about matte ppf. Thanks!

Hey Love your car!

Just curious, do you have the parts number for the front black emblem on the grillle? I can't find it anywhere.

Thanks!

That's sweet! Lowered, too, right?

Lowered with H&R springs, yes.
It’s noticeably lower than the spring kit I just had installed. And in the back it’s need adjusted a bit lower too. I went for more of a raked look though. As the front lift upon launch is already very bad imo…

I just installed the 868 wheels. I was afraid that the wheels would stick out too much without the rear fender flares that are installed by factory if you order the car with these wheel, but the fitment is perfect in my opinion. I also added the rear spoiler from the carbon package.
This really makes me wonder why they added the flares. But do you get TĂśV with that? Also it looks like you have quite some camber to make it fit.

It looks like the rear 868M needs no fender flares to look tucked into the rear fenders because in this case the tucked in look is because of the negative camber increase by lowering the air suspension.

No fender flares, no lowering:

Yeah, makes sense so without lowering they are probably "needed" to make it road legal in the EU without a negative camber which the lowering automatically adds.

Without lowering and the fenders the 868M look odd on this picture :D.

I am not sure to be honest, but most likely the wheel just sticks out too far for german regulations. Camber has not be changed. This is how it is set up by factory. I will try to get this TÜV approved with a “Einzelabnahme“.

Have you noticed a difference at all with how your car rides/handles with the new wheels @stephanga?

Traction is better of course and the car feels more planted with the wider tires. The rear does not feel wobbly anymore when accelerating hard like it did before. Ride is a bit harder, but still more comfortable than I thought it would be. The only downside is that the consumption goes up noticeably. I would say at least 3-5 kWh/100 km.
