I was never a fan of the run flat Cintauro P7 that came with my 330e, but they were also convenient after a blowout during a roadtrip.

Keep in mind that run flat tires are also 2-3% less efficient compared to regular tires. That’s about 10 miles of range less with the tires.
and in my experience are like rock no fun to drive on UK roads. I swapped mine out for ordinary tyres and the difference was stark.

Do we know if the wheels are staggered from the dealer or are they a square set up? I tried to look in the VIR but it doesn't indicate if they are. I've also gone here: BMW i4 2022 - Wheel & Tire Sizes, PCD, Offset and Rims specs
but that doesn't say if OEM is staggered. Anyone know by chance? Subbing to this thread as I don't see a sub for "Wheels and Tires" yet.
OEM squared setup with 18" wheels standard on e40, everything else is staggered.

Thanks Technic. The wheels listed earlier in the thread looks pretty sleek. Chomping at the bits o see what else people do to their wheel set up.
I'm installing a set of BC Forged HB-S03 20X9 et20, with PS4S 255/35 squared in a M50. Getting the 20" option just for the rear fender flares (paint OEM match), aftermarket wheels offset are that aggressive.

Oh man, just looked them up, they are legit. Out of my price range but they look amazing. What color is your m50 and what color wheels are you thinking?
Individual Atlantis (part of the 50th anniversary colors of M), with the HB-S03 in gloss brushed aluminum barrels, Rose Gold centers.

oh man, can't wait to see that combo.
Just out of curiosity, does BC, VMR, Stance, or basically any of those brands create wheels where you can place your OEM wheel caps on them or are they purposely made so that they have their own branding on them?

For sure, BC Forged charges $100 per wheel to bore the center hole to OEM wheel cap diameter - and you can avoid that charge by getting a set of OEM wheel cap sticky version, and sticking that OEM cap on the BC Forged plain center cap:

Other wheel manufacturers have their wheels center hole diameter matching the OEM caps, but those wheels must be BMW fitment in specific.

These look awesome. I noticed that local Vianor had these. Will call them on Monday and ask for an offer.
Let us know about the offer. Some online stores have these for around 1500 eur for the set plus tires. I've also considered getting these in 19" or 20" for my base model leasing car. Currently my order is in with the 17" 852 wheels, but I'm quite sure 225/55R17 will be so ugly on this car that aftermarket wheels are a must for the summer, even as the tires are included in the lease price. And if so, I should save the 320 euro upgrade to 852 anyway, and change my order back to the even more ugly 851 wheels, and just keep them in storage for 3 years.

Regarding tires, I've been thinking about maybe getting them "one bigger" than the spec: 245/40R20 instead of 245/40R19 or 245/35R20 (in front, 255 in the back). And naturally some tires that have as low a rolling resistance as possible. That size would raise the car about 12 mm / half an inch, fill the too large looking wheel arches the same amount more, and also not compromise the comfort as much as 245/35 aspect ratio would, if going for the 20s. But naturally that'll have some effect on range and acceleration due to added ride height and tire weight and circumference. But the SF10 are apparently quite light, so maybe even with 20" the range loss wouldn't be as bad as predicted with the original BMW 20" wheels. What do you guys think, crazy idea?

Is it safe to assume that all OEM wheels from BMW would be able to handle the extra weight of the i4? I'm digging the 892m wheels but they only come in 21". How much of a range hit do you guys think 21"s would take from the stock 19"s? These are the ones I'd love to see a mock up of on an i4. Anyone good with photoshop? :p
