BMW has discontinued Tanzanite from a number of other models, so it will become even rarer to see on our roads.

I ordered my M50 with Tanzanite Blue II color. Not many seem to have made the same choice.

Actually i feel like i'm the only one.

Maybe it's because you have to pay extra?

you are not, I have ordered also the tanzanite M50, My current car is also tanzanite and I have it now for over 5years and still love it to death.

This is similar of what I ordered except mine has red calipers. Very happy to see my configuration in real pictures.

Perfect color on a perfect car.... I've placed my pre-order 2 months ago, unfortunately, my country is limited to 6 units of I4 with color possibilities of mineral white, san remo green and black.

Still thinking..
1. Order any color, put PPF film on dark blue
2. Order any color, repaint
3. Cancel order.... wait until possible

Any suggestions?

You have pretty good selection of colors in wrap films. It will come with a cost for sure, but you get the color you want, and the original paint is rather well protected under.

I can now confirm you're not the only one as I have also just ordered the M50 in Tansanite Blue Metallic, too I think it's a very subtle color that does stand out a lot

I didn't order Tanzanite Blue (due to the limited lease budget), but I really think this is the color with the most class. It really looks like a car for people with style (and I don't mean this in any way to denigrate the other colors)

I've never had any doubts at all that Tanzanite Blue II is the color I want, and the best color available in the configurator.

I'm just sad that some of the interior options I find interesting aren't available in the US. That black/blue option I've seen floating around is pretty sweet, but sadly not something that I can get.

As such, I'm trying to choose between 1. oyster leather, 2. black leather w/ blue M-contrast, or 3. saving some coin and sticking with the standard black Sensatec.

I'm fairly the same way. I am too coming from an Infiniti. Actually a few, had a couple of g35's and now a M37. All have been white/ivory/pearl. I knew I needed something different on the outside so Tanzanite has been my first choice since day one. Interior I bounced from considering leather, going black, considering oyster, deciding I would go w/ sensatac, deciding beige, then cognac, briefly back at black and then going all the way to red. Red sensatc is what I'm sticking with. I'm still not getting the wireless charging (yet). My infiinti interiors have been beige, grey and now black, so this will be a nice change.

Agree, and I think the cerium trim in front and side mirrors looks really great! It matches the wheels in such a nice way.

I’m the same way Every time I see a tanzanite bmw on the road. I’ve had 3 white cars in a row so I really don’t want another white. Of course it was a white one that my dealership has. I really like all of the colors but tanzanite’s looked the best in my opinion.

Love the Tanzinite Blue. Also like it with the Cognac, but not available in ventilated seats, so I went with brown interior.
