Someone here who knows if it is possible to get sensatec cognac seats combined with leather dashboard? I really like that combination very much:)

Does anyone know about the M Badging on the headrests on the i4 M50? I see it on the review videos, but I don't see it on the build page? (I'm in the US if that matters)

Also, anyone know if getting leather seats upgrades you to bucket seats or are they the same seats regardless if its leather or sensatec?
The M Badging represent the M Sport Seats that I don't think are available in the US or Canada. Elsewhere in the world "M Sport Seats" is an option. The leather seats are different from the Sensatec seats, I think the adjustable side bolsters are only available with the leather seats, and the ventilated leather seats are yet another design.

You mean a cognac leather dashboard? or black? :)
Not in BE, leather dash only available with leather seats

I mean the black. I have now tried the M sports seats, but I think the regular sports seats were more comfortable. Since I want cognac, I have to go for "cognac sensatec regular sports seats". But, I think it gets a little too much with cognac on the lower part of the dashboard as well. Therefore, I would rather have the black "leather dashboard" .... strange if it`s not possible ....

Well, that's why I don't like those colored seats, because then there's always a part of the dash that has the same color. For me, a dashboard has to be completely black. And then some nice Oyster, or Cognac upholstery, with the door panels in that same color...

I wonder who will take Sensatec Canberrabeige, with those pale floor carpets... What do you wear on your feet then? Slippers?

Yes you can!

Yes you can!

I just can not get this "sensatec seat / leather dashboard" combination on the Norwegian BMW configurator to work ..... Can it be possible that the salesman at BMW can manage to get the combination ....

Not true, I have ordered the Alcantara/Sensatec and I can have both additional options: lumbar support (€255) and adjustable side bolsters (Free)

Yes, I think that BMW does provide a lot more content with Sensatec in Europe, while it seems to be limiting even the colors in the UK. In the US, the "adjustable seat width" option 490 seems to only be available with leather (see note below MA Vernasca Leather - this is the BMW price list published Oct-2021):

And inline with the 2nd note below MA Vernasca Leather above,4FH Front ventilated seats also deletes this 490 Adjustable seat width

I think that "Vegan interior" is much more popular in Europe, forcing BMW to offer it with the full capabilities, while they withhold things in the US to steer people towards leather.

That is correct. Unless you take the M-Sport Seats with Vernasc Cognac you can tak ethe dashboard option to have it all black.
With Sensatec this isn't possible, and I don't think the dealer can change that....

Unfortunately neither do I :( now in the Greek configurator.
I had saved on September a configuration with that combination but when I select the bookmark I get an error.

To tell you the truth it makes sense the way it is now, but a few months ago, the configurator had accepted the combination.

Interesting observations for I4 interior options with Sensatec and Vernasca:

-when comparing with real cars I have observed some interesting details when choosing interior design Canberra Beige Sensatec w Black contrast:
Image

Part A surrounding rear vents and climate control is black in digital brochure (DB) and online configurator (OC) but is color-matched with Canberra Beige Sensatec in production (fully black with Vernasca, as well as all other interior colors).

Seat back including net (part B) is color-matched when choosing Sensatec Canberra Beige and black when chosing Vernasca Oyster, as well as all other interior colors (can be seen in DB and cannot be observed in OC).
Image

Belts (C) are color-matched when chosing Sensatec Canberra Beige and black when choosing Vernasca Oyster, as well as all other interior colors.

Door inserts (D) for window buttons are black in real and in OC (but are falsely color matched in DB - true for the 2-door 430i) - always black when choosing Vernasca Oyster, as well as all other interior colors.

Part E is color-matched when choosing Sensatec Canberra Beige and black when choosing Vernasca Oyster, as well as all other interior colors.
Image

Part E only gets stitchings when choosing Sensatec / Vernasca with M sport package (includes M50)...

... and no stitchings on I4 without M sport

Color-matched speaker covers when not upgrading to Harman Kardon (only Sensatec Canberra Beige and Vernasca Oyster)

Headrest buttons are color-matched when choosing Sensatec Canberra Beige

Interesting observations, Steffo. I've configured oyster, so this is informative. I like what they do with the contrast when choosing oyster, so for me it works. I would assume it also makes sense, from a cleanliness standpoint, to keep the seat backs black when choosing a light color like oyster.
